Successful Raid Operation by Kankara Police Neutralizes Criminal Gang in Yargoje Town

In a meticulously executed operation on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, operatives from the Kankara Divisional Police Headquarters conducted a major raid in Yargoje Town, Kankara LGA. The focus of the operation was a criminal hideout in Yar Gamji village, resulting in the eradication of notorious criminal gang activities within the region.
The raid, marked by precision and determination, triggered a intense shootout between the police operatives and the criminal elements. The outcome was the successful retrieval of two (2) AK-47 rifles, two (2) locally made guns, and five AK-47 magazines. Notably, two (2) magazines were discovered fully loaded with fifty-nine (59) rounds of 7.62mm caliber live ammunition.
This strategic operation has effectively incapacitated criminal activities in the area. Ongoing relentless efforts aim to track down and apprehend the fleeing suspects as the investigation progresses.
